About us

The Prof. König and Leiser schools are full-time-vocational schools for health care professions in private sponsorship. Since 01/04/1994 ergo and speech therapists have been trained here.

You will find the schools in the PRE Park Kaiserslautern, easily accessible for traffic, as they are situated close to the motorway intersection A6 / A61 and have direct access to the local public transport system.

Theoretical and practical lessons take place in our training, working and therapy classrooms which have been planned following the state-of-the-art technical standard.

The ergotherapy school was approved by the “World Federation of Occupational therapists” (WFOT) in 2001. The training therefore complies with the standards laid down by the World Federation. The graduates are able to practice internationally.

Since 2007, the schools are certified according to AZWV (§ 84 SGB III) and DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.

Training is connected to the ZANR – Center for Outpatient Rehabilitation and the Westpfalz clinic from a very early phase on and is therefore able to offer intensive job-orientated training.

The ZANR – Center for Outpatient Rehabilitation rehabilitates at the school site neurological, neurosurgical, neuroorthopedic patients as well as patients with psychological and psychosomatic disorders either as rehab patients following inpatient treatment or in outpatient rehabilitation.
